Work out where la Buse's treasure can be found
In DiscoveryBox 148 you can read the true story of the pirate who gave away his treasure map. This is la Buse’s famous parchment, with instructions for finding his treasure:
cryptogramme la buse
It’s a coded message, and it comes with a key.
cryptogramme la buse
Of course, he wrote it in French, and a very old-fashioned French at that.
But even those of you who know French won't be able to read it.

This is the message in French:
APRE J ME A UNE PAIRE DE PIJON TIRE SKET
2 DOEURS QE SE A J TETE CHEVAL F UNE KORT
F ILT T IN SHIEN TEU PRENE A UNE CULLIERE
DE MIEL LE E FO V TE FOUSSE N FAITE S UNE ONGAT
METTE ONGAT SUR KE PATAIE DE LA PERTOT OITOU SN
V PULE ONGAT OL VS PRENE A 2 LE T CASSE
SUR LE CHEMIN IL FAUT QCEUT TOIT A NOI TIE COUVE
POUR ENPECGE UNE FEMME DH RENG T VOUS NAVE
RVA VOUS SERER LA DOBAUC GEA ET POUR VENGRAAI
ET PORE PINGLE OU EIUI LE TURLORE
IL J NOUR LAIRE PITER UN CHIEN TURQ UN LE NENDE

SEIUD FKU UNE FEMMR QI VEUT SE FAIRE DU NH MET SE
DETE SUD RE DANS DU UI O OU QN DORMIR UN HOMMRE
SSCFVMM/PL FAUT N RENDRE UDL QU UN DIF FURQE

The message doesn't make any sense. To this day, treasure hunters are trying to work out what it means and so far no one has found the treasure!

Face to face with lions
Did you like the amazing photos of the lions? Anup Shah, who took these photos in Kenya, gave us an extra one to show how he managed to get so close to these big cats.
Look at this picture closely...
Did you work out what the trick was?
Anup hid the camera in a sort of fake stone. He left it on the ground as if it was just part of the landscape. Then he hid nearby to watch and click the shutter from a distance, safe from the lions's sharp claws and teeth!
