Michel Amelin
Michel Amelin was born in 1955 in Algeria and has been teaching kindergarten classes since 1975. His first story was written 21 years ago and was a mystery novel for adults. The next year he published his first novel for children. Since then he has published over 60 stories for children of all ages with some of the biggest publishers in Europe, and many of his stories have been translated to other languages. He likes to write romance novels, horror novels, and also humor novels because his goal is to trigger strong emotions in his readers. He currently lives in Montrelais, a small village on the side of the Loire, with his wife Francoise who is a French teacher, and his two children Hugo and Roxane.

Roland Garrigue
Roland Garrigue is a French illustrator and currently lives and works in Paris, where he was born. Since kindergarten, Roland found himself a talent and passion for drawing. When came the time to pursue a career, he left for Strasbourg where he studied 3 years at the “Arts decoratifs de Strasbourg”, an art school where he perfected his talent. He is a recurring illustrator for Bayard. He also shares his talents in various picture and documentary books for children. Although most of his work revolves around illustrations for youth, he is also working on his own projects by developing odd and interesting characters that could be used in series for adults.
