Something about the Story
In this adaptation of Charlie Chaplin’s classic film from 1921, Charlie the Tramp adopts a little baby who has been abandoned. Charlie lovingly looks after the baby’s every need and becomes a proud adoptive father. The child, however, also has a mother and she is eager to find the baby boy whom she was once forced to give up for adoption… This poetic and gripping story shows that life is wonderful despite the inevitable hardships, especially if one faces up to them with humour and generosity of spirit. This important message will move younger and older children alike. As an end-of-the year surprise, StoryBox is proud to publish this beautifully illustrated version of The Kid.

Today she is passionate about her work, which is writing for children.
